Brief & challenge
The food and beverage market, and the olive oil market specifically are known for being traditional and conservative. Our main challenge was to develop a brand which breaks through with innovation, usability and affordability while maintaining a strong reference to the traditional background and history of locally harvested olive oil.
Our response combined classic, rustic and modern graphic elements in order to find a visual balance to match the brand strategy and positioning. A set of colors refers to the rich local history of the product, combined with contemporary photography and style guides, as well as a complementary modern sans serif typeface to go along with the logo's serif style.
