Brief & challenge
We were asked to develop a new brand strategy and identity for the Essex based event promotion brand 'Sound Reasons'.

Our challenge was to portray and strategize an entire brand based on young people, quality electronic music, purpose and good times.

Response
We have tried to capture the essence of the brand through different graphic elements, finally ending up with a flexible silhouette of a warehouse, which can be adapted to different mediums and projects, as well as being manipulated in order to have different meanings.
​
Our secondary response was to play with the verbal meaning of the brand and the word 'reasons', as a question, by using the question mark in the place of the 's'.
​
As a young brand, the color choice needed to stand-out from other competitors in the market, hence the decision of going for a 'VHS Blue' to help the brand pop.
​
The result is a distinctive and eye-catchy identity which captures the soul of what the brand aims to achieve moving forward: Fun quality house music events and productions.
